Material shopping.

Shopping for things in Mauritius isn't always as easy as popping out to the shops- often you only know about the really good shops through word of mouth, and then you have to FIND them, in a maze of streets with no names... My darling next door neighbour took me on a trip to  a material shop about an hour away from where we live, and our friend Cath joined us for the road trip. Much hysterical laughter over some choice 80's tunes, and some skilful driving by Kerri through Port Louis.

The other co-pilot, and drinks dispenser, Cath
Driving through Port Louis- my favourite Mosque.

I love how wherever you go, there will either be mountains, sugar cane or sea peeking through the alleyways.

Kerry takes us to all the BEST places...
Seriously, if you didn't know this place existed, you would never ever find it. Makes me wonder about all the hidden treasures hidden down scrappy looking alley-ways.

So many pretty things.... we touch the fabric inapropriately and sigh heavily. So many possibilities :)
